R&D Engineers make new ideas come to life as the bridge between products and the consumer. They interact and understand what consumers want, then innovate concepts, products, processes & packaging that meets or exceeds their needs better than anyone else. Our primary entry point is Scientist/Engineer. After achieving technical success, some technologists opt to develop managerial skills while others choose to focus on technical specialities. Our positions are located in our Technical Center in Caracas, Venezuela, giving support to all Latin America region.
Work is done in one of three areas: Process Development, Products Research, or Packaging Development. Products Research Engineers develop a clear understanding of consumer needs, establish formulation, create product/package specifications and quality measures, and monitor consumer satisfaction. Process Development Engineers develop new processes to make our products. They design and execute experiments at the bench and in pilot plants which eventually lead to scale-up at our manufacturing sites. Package Development Engineers manage the design and material development for our packages. Focus is on innovative packaging that improves functional product performance, package shelf appearance, consumer acceptance, and ease of use while supporting our environmentally responsive packaging.
