External Relations positions at Procter & Gamble offer exciting opportunities to be strategic business leaders. Involvement may include developing communications plans, managing issues and providing media relations support for P&G's brands, advising senior management or developing publicity plans. Responsibilities will include developing relationships with key media and managing a heavy volume of media relations and public relations activities, meeting with government officials, developing PR programs, materials and position statements, as well as developing and managing positions on company and brand issues. External Relations is a vital function and often the key link in getting the right information out to the right people.

Qualifications

Communication Undergraduate Degrees
Some technical / scientific comfort required.
Substantive course work or work-related experience in communications, public relations, issues management and/or media relations. Background experience in communicating and using digital & web-based technology. Leadership, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical and strategic-thinking ability, combined with sound judgment is essential. Proven creativity in leveraging opportunities and solving problems and the ability to manage multiple priorities are also needed.
