Description

P&G offers Internship Program for those students who are interested in the area of Marketing. Our internship program is the source of many of our full-time hires. We offer our interns real challenging projects which provide great exposure and experience for our interns. We carefully select who to hire as our interns and there are mid-term & final assessment which will determine whether our interns could be offered a full-time position in P&G.
Some responsibilities will include marketing plan development to identify specific marketing tactics that build on consumer and customer insights to deliver overall business objectives and strategies. You will also be using your skills to analyze the business, in addition to financial, competitive and research analysis, and research planning. Beyond that, additional responsibilities would include :
  1. Developing Plans and Strategies (forecasting, strategy/concept/packaging development and product/marketing qualification)
  2. Advertising (strategy/creative brief development, copy evaluation, copy clearance, commercial production and media planning)
  3. Promotion (promotion/pricing planning and strategy and promotion/pricing execution)
  4. Consumer/Customer Training (consumer decision making, customer operations, customer decision making and market segmentation)
  5. Complex Business and Financial Analysis
  6. Interpersonal Projects (coaching/training, recruiting, multi-functional teamwork).

Qualifications

  1. Malaysian students who are in penultimate year - second year (of 3-year course) or third year (of 4-year course) of any Degree in any field and interested in pursuing a Marketing career. Graduates and those looking for a change in work environment should not apply to this internship position.
  2. Able to join the internship program for at least 2 months.
  3. Have strong academic credentials and still be in their course of study upon completion of this internship.
  4. Are excellent in cognitive thought and problem solving.
  5. Have demostrated strong leadership ability through active participation in extra-curricular activities or in the course of their studies.
  6. Are creative and innovative.
  7. Have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
