Work teams perform daily bench work, are responsible for ensuring raw materials, packing materials, and finished product are tested according to standards, and determine disposition of materials and finished product to support supply chain need.   Work teams conduct problem analyses, investigations, instrument/method troubleshooting, and issue resolution as necessary.  Technicians do various types of work to include operating testing equipment, using computers to track/monitor data, perform preventive maintenance on equipment, identify/improve procedures/results, develop individual capability, and help others improve their capability. E&amp;I Technicians are responsible for enabling production throughput, reducing equipment downtime, eliminating defects, and building technical mastery.  They focus on initiating and implementing continuous improvement projects with the goal of delivering the best product, at the lowest cost, with the highest quality, and in a safe environment.  E&amp;I Technicians are expected to have electrical technical mastery in order to successfully troubleshoot problems and to proactively improve production systems.  E&amp;I Technicians perform various types of work, such as:</div><ul style="LIST-STYLE-TYPE: disc"><li>Maintaining and troubleshooting high-speed packing, making, and facilities power &amp; controls equipment</li><li>Using electrical test equipment to diagnose electrical problems</li><li>Performing preventive maintenance and calibrations on equipment</li><li>Troubleshooting, monitoring, &amp; programming PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems</li><li>Troubleshooting and monitoring variable frequency drives, servo control systems, robotics</li><li>Troubleshooting and repairing machine and process control equipment</li></ul><div> </div><div>Individuals with an electrical-based AAS (Associates of Applied Science) degree or equivalent electrical work experience should apply.  Familiarity with the National Electric Code is a plus.  Additional skills we are seeking include experience with Allen Bradley PLC's and HMI's, instrumentation calibrations, motor control systems, variable frequency drives, servo drives, power distribution (&lt;600V), Wonderware, and control system networking.  In addition, we are seeking individuals with good interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
