R&d Phd Human Safety Toxicologist Beijing

Procter & Gamble's Product Safety and Regulatory Affairs Department at the Beijing Innovation Center is looking for a PhD level scientist in the area of toxicology and human safety. The successful candidate will provide human safety support for currently marketed products and the development of upstream technologies, concentrating on how safety assurance can be provided for the general use of consumer products. This work will occur in a technically challenging and globally diverse business environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide technical guidance and safety assurance to global project teams developing new/complex technologies through all stages of product development.
• Develop collaborative working realtionships with toxicology colleagues and R&D teams globally.
• Maintain appropriate collaboration with related functions such as Regulatory Affairs and External Relations.

• Must have a PhD in a life science discipline, with preference toward toxicology or pharmacology.
• Effective application of basic science skills in a business environment.
• Ability/capacity to learn contemporary risk assessment processes and related disciplines to provide safety assurance.
• Candidates must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work effectively in a global team environment
