Objective

To support Japan Pet Care business requirement by having balanced supply plan and finished product inventories

Responsibilities

  1. Perform long term distribution supply planning for finished products to meet business requirements
  2. Provide visibility of finished product replenishment plan within short term window planning (1 - 3 months)
  3. Monitor finished product replenishment plan vs. actual shipment progress in daily basis
  4. Manage inventory level at Japan DCs to meet inventory policy and month-to-month inventory glide path
  5. Issue purchase orders to sourcing sites thru current existing process (SAP Transaction)
  6. Conduct what if analysis vs. demand fluctuations or supply constraints in order to adjust finished product replenishment plan
  7. Conduct shipment prioritization in case of supply short fall due to various constraints in supply chain
  8. Work proactively with sourcing sites to ensure no shipment delay to P&G Japan and as well as no shipping document delay/inaccurate
  9. Work with third party logistics (3PL) and P&G Japan Cross Border Logistics to ensure no customs clearance delay.
  10. Proactively attend regular meeting with planner from P&G Japan MDO and Sourcing Sites
  11. Do joint planning with initiative planner prior to new products launch stage for generating finished product codes, developing phase-in and phase-out plan and also master data set up required in SAP
  12. Contribute in eliminating supply chain cost out of the system and also work process improvement
