Based upon applicants electrical and PLC experience, the position can pay up to $25/hour plus shift differential (if applicable).  Technicians perform all the Electrical and Instrumentation required job functions in an Aerosol and Non- Aerosol Liquid filling making and packing operations.  E&amp;I Technicians focus on initiating and implementing continuous improvement projects in a team centered environment with the goal of delivering the best product, at the lowest cost, and the highest quality in a safe environment. This particular E&amp;I role will focus primarily on the Making operation.  As part of the skill set, mastery in control systems and platforms is preferred.</div><div> </div><div>Technicians do various types of work under minimal supervision including, troubleshooting and maintaining electrical control systems, process control systems, instrumentation, and operator interface terminals for large scale manufacturing. These systems contain multiple PLCs, Servos, HMIs, HART Instruments and Inspection systems. Technicians are responsible for keeping production flowing, meeting performance goals and maintaining the high level of quality that consumers expect from our products. Technicians are expected to get involved, take charge of situations and confront business-related problems.</div><div style="FONT-STYLE: italic"> </div><div>E&amp;I Technicians also perform all functions relative to improvements in the areas of electrical and instrumentation maintenance, troubleshooting, throughput and changeovers on site equipment. This includes but is not limited to production lines, mix systems, and palletization areas. Also, E&amp;I Technicians communicate with equipment vendors and part suppliers to troubleshoot, order, and improve on equipment and machine design to deliver enhanced equipment performance.  They schedule, order parts, and perform all machine rebuilds and installations for the site equipment and actively participate in design and documentation improvements for line changeovers, operations and maintenance and coordinates maintenance activities with other members of the team and customers.  E&amp;I Technicians perform complex electrical functions to include: electrical and controls troubleshooting and PLC programming.  E&amp;I Technicians are responsible to work closely with equipment vendors to ensure a smooth transition of new equipment and equipment upgrades to the site, including training of line operators if needed and also ensure all aspects of compliance are being met in the areas of safety, quality, GMP's and FDA compliance on site equipment.  Further, E&amp;I Technicians must be capable of interpreting JIC &amp; DIN electrical schematics, ANSI electronic schematics, and P&amp;ID's. </div><div> </div><div>Qualifications Summary:</div><ul style="LIST-STYLE-TYPE: square"><li>Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting techniques for electrical/electronic control systems and platforms. </li><li>Thorough working knowledge of programmable logic controllers, specifically, Allen-Bradley. Key PLC concepts include I/O addressing, numbering systems (binary, HEX, octal, ASCII), instructions sets, PLC communication protocols, and data table structures.</li><li>Working knowledge of personal computers with Microsoft operating systems, Microsoft office modules</li><li>Understanding of various Industrial networking systems.</li><li>Must demonstrate competency in the use of test instruments, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and process calibrators.  </li></ul><div>In order to perform the work described above in our manufacturing atmosphere, plant technicians use basic hand and power tools; lift 50 pounds by bending and stooping; climb, stand, and move around on stairs, ladders and platforms; twist, turn and bend; enter confined spaces; and stand on concrete floors for an extended period of time.  Further, technicians have and are able to display skills in manufacturing processes, including operating, maintaining and cleaning automated equipment; maintaining accurate records and data; strong technical, interpersonal and problem-solving skills; and knowledge of computers.  Additionally, the safety of Technicians is of great importance to Procter &amp; Gamble.  Technicians will be required to wear appropriate safety equipment, such as safety shoes, ear protection, and eye protection.</div><div> </div><div>The Andover Procter &amp; Gamble Plant operates 5-days per week with overtime on weekends as dictated by the business.
